Contempo - Community Show Choir for adults in Aldershot, Hampshire

Pop, Rock, Soul, Reggae, Disco, Ska - Contempo covers many styles of music



   Rehearsals take place fortnightly on Mondays at 7.30-9pm
       at Aldershot Baptist Church, Upper Elms Road, Aldershot, Hampshire, GU11 3ES 

  Contemporary style choir - singing popular music from the 60's to modern day

    All ages 18+ welcome!  

    Pay as you go - Just £5 a session

    No need to be able to read music, as we don't follow sheet music  

    Parts are not assigned into bass, tenor, alto or soprano.  You will be assigned a part or can choose to sing melody or lower or higher harmonies.                                                           

   No audition - although you will need to be able to sing in tune

Anyone may turn up and try Contempo out, however it's always best to contact Gemma first just incase the session you plan to attend has been cancelled.
Please pay 5 pounds cash at the beginning of the session.
You will be required to sign a contract before your first session, to save time please complete the below contract in advance, and bring along to your first session.
Gemma reserves the right to ask unsuitable or disruptive members to leave Contempo at any time.

Gemma is a trained vocalist and vocal coach from Surrey, England.

Gemma has been teaching professionally for over 5 years. She studied Performing Arts for 2 years and spent a year at The Academy Of Contemporary Music perfecting her singing talent.

Gemma also runs regular singing workshops, courses and master classes for children and adults.
