Contempo Choir Vocal Coach/Director

Gemma is hoping to get some help for the next Contempo choir term Sept 08-March 09

Ages 21+ welcome to apply, male or female!

You would be required to teach the choirs once a month on a Saturday (6 sessions in total), either on your own, or with Gemma's help. The choirs rehearse at The Ash Centre, Ash, Surrey, so ideally you would need your own transport, or be able to get to Ash in time for sessions.

Rehearsals are as follows (Saturdays):
2.30-3.45pm - teaching the junior choir (ages 7-14) 3.45-4pm - break 4-6pm - teaching the adult choir

Contempo learn modern songs, from artists such as Queen, Robbie Williams, Bob Marley, High School Musical, Disney (junior choir), Ray Charles, etc

You will be paid £35 per session (2.30-6pm), on completion.

You must be a good singer, with harmony skills, and you MUST be able to motivate! You must be CRB Checked. Previous teaching experience helpful, but not essential.

Musicians Wanted! - Amy Winehouse Tribute Band

Gemma is currently looking for musicians to form an Amy Winehouse tribute band.

Please note that this will not be a sound-a-like/look-a-like act, simply a covers band. 

She also requires a musician/composer to form a songwriting partnership.

United Vocal Coaches Masterclasses

Gemma is currently looking for other vocal coaches to work alongside her in 2008/2009 masterclasses.

So if you are a singing coach of any style - from pop to punk, jazz to heavy metal, rock to opera, Gemma wants to hear from you! The masterclasses are designed to be versatile for the participants - so that they can learn about lots of different styles and techniques in one day.
